Holiday clubs to cover childcare throughout the year
HOLIDAY CLUB
​
Our Explorers Holiday Club has a variety of forest school, bush-craft, arts & crafts, sports & games and engaging activities all day, every day from 8am to 5pm throughout the summer holidays. Please note that there is no club during Swanage Carnival (31st July to 4th August). Each week is themed and all our sessions will take advantage of our Forest School led by our qualified practitioners.

Week 1: Jurassic Explorers
Fossil discovery, Build a dinosaur swamp,

Week 2: Our Natural World
Bug Hunting, Life Cycles, Getting to know our plants,
Wildlife Friendly Gardens, Excursion
Week 3: Pirate's Plunder
Life-size Battle Ships, Map Reading, Treasure Hunts,
Build a Pirate Ship and Excursion
Week 4: Fairytale Fun
Potions making, Pixie Doors, Wands and Broomsticks,
Design a character
Week 5: Bushcraft Skills
Fire lighting, Shelter building, Willow weaving,
Cooking on a fire

Younger children who also need holiday provision, may be able to secure a space within our pre-school setting in Swanage if there is space available. This option is for 2, 3 and 4 years olds.
HOLIDAY ACTIVITY AND FOOD PROGRAMME (HAF)
​
We are offering the Holiday Activity and Food Programme in conjunction with Dorset Council this Summer. Every child that attends under this scheme will receive a FREE half day session and a cooked lunch.

Details for the Club
ALL OUT HOLIDAY CLUBS ARE NUT FREE. PLEASE BRING A PACK LUNCH ACCORDINGLY.
We recommend that your child dresses casually, and is dressed for the weather and expecting to spend time outside. Trainers or closed-toed shoes are recommended for our forest school site. Free-moving and lightweight clothing is best. Please ensure your child brings a named water bottle with them for each session. They should also pack a sunhat, sun cream and spare clothing.
